    Leather strop maintenance

i use a strop to finish all of my knives when sharpening... i can usually, gut, skin, and debone 3 deer with my buck knife before i have to sharpen it again, I usually do it right before deer season every year and get it razorblade sharp... as to the original question, I don't know the fix for...

    Lowrance ice fishing

you can do the same thing with an LX7 btw they do have transducers for open water with mount options for kayak and boat... all of the marcum flashers do actually... LX and RT series also have the history graph... I will concede that the vexilar is faster to adjust with its high tech knobs

tip from an ex wahpeton college student... do not get close to the back end of said beat trucks with a brand new windshield... those beats will destroy your car

    Lowrance ice fishing

I tried both, the round flasher simulation and the graph with the amplitude bar, I liked the graph/amplitude bar better but side by side comparison it just did not respond as fast when a fish showed up... the elite 5 is back in my boat now and that's where it will stay now that I have the LX7

    Lowrance ice fishing

I used an elite 5 until last year when I used a buddies flasher in Canada and realized how much faster they pick up a fish and way more target separation with the flasher (was using a vex flx28) I ended up finding a good deal on a marcum lx7 at the end of last year and it still has the history...

    Dog blind for field hunting?

Whose has the better tasting walleye

what are you drinking? I fish right in the oil field pollution you speak of (and work 3 miles from the van hook boat ramp) and sak water is not more or less dirty now than it was when I was a kid and you clearly have not caught walleye in sak this year, average fish is 18-20" and a football...

    Game & Fish Numbers

I know there used to be a lot of stocking... after reading the pheasants forever suggestions it looks like they do not recommend it anymore

    Game & Fish Numbers

also a pheasant is old at 3 years of age and a deer can be 8-10 or even older in rare cases... the pheasant population is not naturally sustainable also, if we did not stock pheasants then they would eventually all die off

    jigging rap vs. shiver minnow

I use both shivers and raps but prefer the shivers... the primary difference is the shiver minnow rolls over at the top of the stroke as long as you give it slack line, I feel I get more bites on them but it is probably a confidence thing, I lose every rap I put on unless I cut the nose hook...

    Diesel pickup exhaust

allen i have a 2010 and had a similar issue... you can run a hose up into the exhaust and leave it there and flood the exhaust for about 45 min and clean it out (this is what the dealership does and charges you $200) or you can get rid of the problem and install a tuner, down pipe back exhaust...
