I have 10 ply BFs on my truck now. Zero flats & sitting at 50k miles. Should be able to get another 10k out of them but winter will dictate that. The do get a little noisy as you get to the end of their life, but will 100% put another set on.
When you changed your prop did you put the plastic exhaust sleeve back in? I forgot to put mine back on and it cavitated terribly at mid-speeds.
This guy.
Not sure you guys every received proper recognition for that day. What you guys do is greatly appreciated by the citizens of Bismarck. We drove down Main that afternoon and it was comforting to know you guys were there & keeping an eye on those rats. Thank-you!
I bought a pair of these for work about 6 months ago. Absolutely comfortable. The sole is very hard and would be great in the Badlands terrain.

Will be looking at a new tarp for my Impact next year and thinking what can I get creative with. Has anyone had a tarp made that drapes over the boat, extending down to the trailer frame? I'm thinking rock and dust protection and ease of tie down. Thoughts?
The solid/full width rub ones were tough to find when I bought. Would have gone that way.
Lots of rocks come off the front truck tires and then pass between the flaps on the non-full length style units. I ended up with several small rock chips. This is the very reason I sold my rock tamer and...
Pretty sure I ordered from their website, but I see Towtector is selling on Amazon now so that may be an easier option.
I've been happy with mine. No new chips in the boat. I just leave it on my pickup all summer. Washing has taken a piece of their logo/sticker off but there is no rust after 3...
I can tell you I have been able to actually fish twice as much vs. run the trolling motor with my Humminbird / Minnkota / Lakemaster iPilot Link set-up.
To me, fishing with SI is on the same plane as fishing with a Vexilar, it's a must have.
Slab on grade? Buy a 32x40 Menards garage kit for $9,000 and dig in a septic/storage tank drop in a stool. Finish the inside and windows on the pay as you go plan.
Broken marine glass is a major pain. I bought a Flack Jaket windshield guard from Mild to Wild in Mandan for $350 or so. Great ND product that is worth the investment to prevent having to go down this rabbit hole!
