    Breaking in a shot gun

From my understanding and "research" I did when I bought my Stoeger 3500, it's more of a break-in for the action, not the barrel. It can't hurt to go out and shoot a few rounds of clays just to get the feel of it. Like you I had never heard of breaking in a shot gun, but I hadn't bought on since...

    Driving in the left lane

It's extremely annoying when your cruising along and some idiot is scared to pass an HP in the left lane going slower than the speed limit. Freaking idiots, he's not going to stop you and give you a ticket for passing him while your going the speed limit!;:;banghead

    How fast is your boat?

Alumacraft trophy sport 175 with 130 Honda 3 blade stainless prop 17p, 41 with just me, 38 with the family on board. Thought about switching to a 19p but boat plains out fast and I can troll down to 2-2.5mph with current prop. Top speed isn't that crucial to me, once she's pained out I back off...

    Clay pigeons for kids

Stick a piece of cardboard inside an old tire an roll it down a hill. Start gradual and work up to a steeper grade hill. Not how I learned but a guy I used to work with told me that's how he and his brothers learned to shoot at moving targets with rifle and shotgun. Seems like a pretty good...

Boots - i want good ones

Have you tried the Danner boot dressing? Use that on my pronghorns that I've had for about 5yrs with no issues. I clean them up good before I start wearing them in the fall and give them a good coating of the boot dressing and wear them well into winter until it gets to cold.(not insulated)...

No tags for this family, all turned down, 3rd yr in a row. Fingers crossed(with little hope)for a goat tag. We've been rationing or sausage for special occasions but it won't last another year.

    Permanent fish house versus boat

I guess I'd have to go with the house...no the boat. How about an icehouseboat that does it all!!! Million dollar idea!

    Humminbird 859HD DI puck?

I'm replacing my lowrance here in the next week or so with a Humminbird and I'm wondering if I need an external antenna or not? How accurate is the GPS without it? My buddy put one on his boat without the antenna and feels he doesn't need one but I'm curious of the accuracy.

What about putting the salt rag in a trap, live or otherwise. Would think that should work. I think I would use a live trap with the dogs running around.
