    The way the AIM tournaments are structured via Catch, Record and release, no live weigh in is held. I’m not sure what the plan for the rules meeting is, but likely will be via webcast. Trophy presentation will likely be spaced and maybe only the top 10 teams or something along those lines...

    I don’t think you’d have to go that heavy. I think a 3/8 or 1/2 oz would be more than suffice. If you have multiple people fishing you could try different weights and line angles to see what’s working best. At the speeds you’re talking that would be more of a late June to mid summer bite...

    I have Panoptix but haven’t used it much. It seems like when I do, I have to lift my jig 10” or so before you get bottom separation. Do you see that or are u able to adjust your set points to get better separation?

    The thing is, this time of year even when the temps get above freezing it’s only for a few hours. At the ice it really doesn’t even get above freezing. As long as it gets in the low 20’s or teens at night, it makes ice. We’re making about an inch every 24 hours right now.

    What do you weigh? 60 pounds? I’ve never once had an issue with my K drill jarring me around. I cut large areas out for minnow traps with mine and it doesn’t wear me out at all. And I’m not in shape....
