    Snowmobile

Would I have to be careful trying to pull a whole elk carcass in a sled? Would like to avoid doing something to burn /nblow a belt!

    Snowmobile

At what point do you think a trail sled wouldn’t work? 1’, 2’ of powder? No opposed to something with deeper paddles but figured a utility sled would Be better for pulling a sled. Honestly I need it to get around when the snow gets too deep for trucks so that my only competition is other tracked...

I won’t be venturing that remotely or alone thankfully.

    Snowmobile

For as much as I am going to use it I don’t think I necessarily need fuel injection. I want to keep it under 2k.

    Snowmobile

I won’t be using it in that deep of snow because once the snow gets too deep the elk move off the mountain.

    Snowmobile

I’m thinking cheap, under 2k. I didn’t use my four wheeler with tracks enough so I ended up selling it.

    Snowmobile

Looking for an old cheap snowmobile for fishing and potentially pulling a sled with some elk quarters in it. I honestly know nothing about them or what to look for. Saw an older 90’s Polaris trail sled but the track didn’t seem to have much more than an inch worth of paddles length. Is that...

    Line Spooling in Bismarck

Man I am going to miss Dakota Tackle. Place was literally a fisherman’s dream ( yes I have weird dreams). I made every effort to make an excuse to drive through Bismarck.

    Braided line

Suffix 832 in hi vis green I feel like the color doesn’t fade as fast as PP and is a more natural color than yellow . I run flouro leaders on my jigging rods. 10# on everything seems to drag enough snags to the surface. Power pro works great too. Both strong even when taking a beating. I hate...

    Farm Bureau Boy

Glenn beck is the only one left on the radio that I enjoy. Quit listening to 550 when hennen left. At least he had decent guests on. Radio is dying because they haven’t figured out how to be like rush

I hear nothing left up in Canada except for big water. Not much down in Nebraska yet. Saw one big flock of snows but most birds must still be up north

    Wyoming all you can kill

Difference between the little guys and the big guys. The smaller ranches need to make money and it’s harder every year to do so. Many of them have been closing up and selling off to the mega ranches for prices that could never be recouped by raising cattle. They shoot out an outrageous number...

    Wyoming all you can kill

Honestly it’s the mega ranches at fault here. The small ranches are the ones who take the brunt of the problem the mega reaches cause. The small ranches hate the mega ranches as much as the rest of us. The mega ranches could care less about making money because their owners didn’t buy the land...

    Wyoming all you can kill

Most of the big landowners are like this is WY, they could give 2 sheets to cut off the public from hunting elk especially on landlocked public lands. This elk problem is 100% the fault of these greedy landowners. Unit 7 has issues a ton of tags the last few years and the population still keeps...

NDA Ammo and Reloading Component TRADE thread

Well the .223 ammo is starting to get low around these parts. Haven’t been into the store in the last 3 weeks and the difference is stark. Who knew there would be another shortage. Even 9mm is getting low too. Is everyone else seeing the same thing?

    Vexilar gets bought out

Must be making a bunch of $$$$ of old flasher technology for what they charge. Haven’t used my vexilar in years. Not sure how they expect to expand vexilar sales which in my opinion have been going down.

    favorite ice rod locker holder

Actually n Actually it’s not any bigger than the rod hard cases they are making. My biggest gripe is the cost of it. Kind of expensive for what it is. More compact than a hard case but holds less rods. Scheels ultimate case is what I went with because I didn’t want to buy an otter at regular...

That helps a lot but the dummy pintails still like to nest in that winter fallow no matter what the surrounding cover is. They have so many better areas to choose to nest in but decide to nest in the stubble instead. Hard to get these birds to adapt after centuries of instinct to overcome

NDA Ammo and Reloading Component TRADE thread

Those are not too bad of prices. $189 for BR-2 and $100 for LRP here locally, $130 for LRMag Primers the last time I saw them. Saw some Winchester LRP in MN for $80 a brick knee I should’ve bought some.
