    It seems like younger people just have to plant as early as possible. I have learned that the early bird doesn’t always catch the worms. One thing I learned is that canning is way more enjoyable later on when it’s cooler. Thus no rush to get my garden started.

    I put in onions and potatoes. The forecast of temperatures in the low 40's at night isn't the greatest. Where I live that means possible 30's. Hopefully I will get some seeds planted this week.

    I haven't read anything good about skipping mowing in May. Dumb idea. I plant flowers for the bees and only spray for weeds every couple of years.

    My tinnitus is better now with the hearing aids. I hardly notice the constant buzzing in my ears. It’s much worse when I remove my hearing aids. My ears never quit buzzing. Ever.

    State street is horrible. What I really appreciate is those turds that drive slow. Especially from a stop. 20 mph on ninth is crazy.

    I have been traveling up north on 9th and south on seventh almost daily for 13 years. Most of the time only stopping once from expressway tp Boulevard. Or south at Main. It could be much worse. I drive about 27 to 30 mph. During BHS departures sometimes it slows traffic. To be expected by...
