    I'm really getting lazy. I have the pop up along, but usually just sit in the vehicle or on a lawn chair when it's late ice and 20+ degrees outside. The pop up usually serves as an outhouse with a rattle reel so you have something to do when your in there.

    My 06 lacrosse 3.8 has 205k on it. takes a half quart of synthetic in 5k miles. Just did the plugs, belt, alt, water pump, trans fluid. Should be good for another 100k. Will need brakes n rotors and rear struts in about 40k miles. gonna drive it till she dies.

    When the top water is warm, the only reason I can see for a live well is for tournaments or for bleeding the fish or maybe you have little ones that like watching the fish swim around. I haven't done many tourneys and haven't got into the habit of bleeding the fish, so it's the cooler with ice...

    Only time something like that has happened to me I had a chunk of the piston skirt crack off and it rolled around the crankshaft and punched 3 holes in the crankcase allowing in as much air as the damn engine wanted. Machine shop welded it up. Hope is something less interesting than that.

    sounds like sticky float or needle valves...I'd run some sea foam through it to see if it cleans it up. If you are wondering why/how....the angle of the engine is probably different in the driveway vs on the water.

    you have to touch the plug to the power head to complete the circuit. you could wrap some non-insulated wire around the threads of the plug with a tail to touch the powerhead/ground point if you need to get it away from the powerhead to see the spark.
