    Sloughs have been frozen over here for 3 days now. Haven't been close enough to check them, but with the wind we've had during freezing, they don't look to bad from a distance! I'll wait till after deer season to brave it though. No fish is worth dying over! Stay safe and have fun!

    No. Never heard of that before! Even if it worked, still need to replace it. It broke down only a half mile from town, so no biggie to tow it.

    So this morning my wife calls and said the pick up died out on her way home from work. So I go to where she is stalled and try go start it, after checking oil and such, and it starts and runs for about a second or 2 then dies. I'm thinking a fuel issue, probably the pump? It has 270k plus miles...

    On mine, a 2003 Silverado, it was stuck In tow/haul mode and that is in your gear selector lever I believe? Not sure on that. The mechanic said it was shorting out causing g it to stay In tow/ haul. Mine was doing the same thing u described. High rpm's shifting from 1st to 2nd.

    Back in 2011, we just got done combining a field and moving to the next one. It was about a 6 mile track. We got to a set of RR tracks, at about 630, I'll never forget the time, the sun was perfect and I didn't see the train! I was driving a case IH quad track, and they are rough as shit going...
