    Bout 15 years ago a buddy n I tried bouncers with about a 6 foot leader and a crank bait. Caught lots of eyes. Might also work with spoons. Never tried it though. Oh, got the idea from an older fellar we worked with. The old timers know their shit, most of the time!

    I also fell victim to the wooden spoon! After a while it didn't hurt anymore and I'd just laugh. Big mistake because the hair brush in moms purse over the head hurt way worse than that sissy spoon! Oh the good ole days when u could discipline ur kids!     If its the guy I know, by the same name, ask him bout hunting deer on other peoples property and leaving the gates open and all the cattle get out. If it is him, he shot a deer on another guys land a few years back that scored in the 190s I believe.
