    I think his issue is that the head mount that is included with the digger carrier cannot be mounted in a way that actually supports the strikemaster 40v head unit. He will have to let it ride without or find a way to make the mount work with modifications.

    I do not have the motor support mounted on mine and haven’t had any issues yet, BUT before I go to Lake Winnipeg again I will have to figure something out because that motor bouncing around can’t be good for any of the gears or bearings. I guess it all depends how much of a beating you are going...

    Just mix it 50/50 with pork and you will never be able to tell the difference, you can just use the same mixes, I would suggest some Owens BBQ! Made goose sausage one year and turned out better than all of the other venison sausage we made.

    I bought one of the 13 decent inline reels, drags seems to work ok so far. I think they took the No. 8 fishing design and made it their own when they bought them out. Haven’t fished with it enough to give an honest review.

    Use of Sucker Minnows in ND

    They are native in WY so you are allowed to use them in the drainages you catch them in. Otherwise you have to buy statewide minnows out here that are farmed in Arkansas for $5 a DOZEN!

    The only concentration of wolves in WY are west of the Bighorns in the NW corner of the state. Wolves are not as common in the rest of the state. Mountain lions are another story.....

    Otter has some nice features and is over engineered like the rest of their products. Their bag is also oversized and easy to use unlike some eskimos. I would go with the refuge unless you fish alone in the wind. I have their biggest 4 side so I don’t need to struggle putting it up in the wind...

    I have had clam and otter ones. Make sure to get an insulated one. Depending how much room you want will determine how big and heavy the house is.
