    Nice sv....However,notice the top lever slightly off center,indication block is worn,top lever should be way off set,not slightly unless disassembled.,still pretty tho. once top lever is inline (not off set) barrels won't lock.Good smith can re-build the block.

    Paddog,if your traveling every so often and need the carrier,the cheap route is the way to go strap down soft baggage bag inbetween the rails,iffin you want a larger hard case tub,order cross member rails from your car dealer,then look into "thule racks" thule makes all sorts of luggage...

    For those of you that have encountered black bears in the woods,you know just how stealthy they are,even the big ole buin 500+ can walk right up on ya nary a sound.poor kid must be the fat kid his buddy out ran when bear attacked.
