    Love2hunt-- What heated insoles did you go with? I have enough layers or warm enough clothing and a muff with a heat pack in it where I can keep everything pretty warm or warm enough sitting in a stand my feet still get cold, have been thinking about heated socks or heated insoles for a while now.

    Nope it looks like it is crimped on with a metal clamp. I could cut to the old style end off and put a new style end on but I don't know how well it would seal. I don't wanna have a leaking connection around an open flame.
