    i don’t understand? I just proved the payouts are the exact same? 75% back to winnings in both and the Gov Cup and DWC are the same. It’s all about boat numbers. DWC, Gov Cup and VHC all have what? 180-250 boats? It’s proportional.

    The Sak event wasn’t won by running 80 Miles....it was won about 3 or 4 miles from take off. The ones that ran 60+ miles were just chasing easier bites.

    Once it fills the payouts will be a lot better. Plus the goal is to make the National and get to fish for 50k. There are other avenues as well to make the payouts better via endorsements. Merc, Garmin and several others add to the pot if you’re fishing the circuit. Just a thought.

    Yep, all true. Last year I yanked a guy out of a ridge. He was so damn close to going in. Don’t get me wrong, we had fun, but just not what it was when we started up there. Next year I may plan a trip in December to fish the river and another in Jan or feb.

    It won’t go back to the crazy prices we use to see, but with increasing oil prices, service companies will increase rates once again. They have to. Most of them are struggling as bad as some of the oil companies.
