    Before you replace it try pruning it late next winter/early spring. Correctly. Lots of videos on YouTube. I did it and finally after seven years it started to produce. I also heard that whacking the tree with a bat will shock them into producing. Of course late spring frosts don’t help.

    Apples on trees can tolerate temps approaching 26°F before frost damage occurs. If they freeze on the tree, wait for the fruits to thaw before harvesting. Frozen fruits should be used promptly.

    The blue canoe. We were under the influence when we bought it. Missed the hole in it. When my buddy sold it you could hear the bearings grind as the new owner pulled away. It was our first boat, a real project. We still laugh about the "blue canoe".

    I spray tomatoes and all vine plants with Bonide Revitalize. It is supposed to prevent plant diseases. Look it up. I didn't have any powdery mildew last year after spraying it. Whether or not it's worth it is hard to say because of only used it once. But it came from a valued source. I...
