    FBO new chat room

I popped in there yesterday, just for S&G's... It was only me and Joan. I couldn't smell her perfume, so I wasn't sure if it was a guy or a gal and immediately left. ;:;funnypost

    Storm 6/17

I had remnants of hail laying in the grass and against my garage door at 7:15am, almost three hours after the storm had passed. I have no idea what the size had to be for that not to melt in that amount of time. Most of what I received against the west side (came at eastern-facing slant with...

    Little Minneapolis Question

Maybe we can get a referendum added to the ballot for a vote to 'give' the city to Minnesota. I'd say it would be a pretty good trade if we got Roseau or LOW in return; extremely fair trade! ;:;popcorn:;;:thumbsup

Oil well planned for Van Hook

Not only those that have cabins along the roadway to the resort / landing, what about those nice year-round homes that are stacking along the eastern shoreline north of the landing? Can you imagine those people that will hear that sound every day/night forever, not just weekends! How much of...

    ? for you hockey pucks

Even if the Sharks lose, the damn MVP ought to be Jones! He is getting the onslaught of Penguin pucks into his legs/torso. Damn hard to win a seven-game series when your goalie is fighting off 45 pucks per game. After Sunday, here's the starting lineup in San Jose:

    Credit cards

I'm the same way, Gus. I put everything I can on the credit card and pay it all off at the end of the month. I was using the Scheels Card (approximately $150/yr in gift cards), but my bank, USAA, was offering 1.5% back on everything (added $50/yr to my pocket). Now, I cancelled my Scheels...

    ? for you hockey pucks

I'm hoping so. Since it's so freakin' hot outside, I'm going to relax in the basement and watch the game while sitting in the recline position. Popcorn & beer, maybe? I'll just vision my final few swallows coming from Lord Stanley's Cup at the end of tonight's game! LET'S GO PENS!;:;popcorn

    06-06-1944

I also met Mr. Van der Geest here in Bismarck. I paid for him to come speak at our annual training workshop back in 2001. What a story! He signed his book for me, "Was God On Vacation". It's not written all that well, but the story itself is utter and complete amazement. He played 'dead'...

Question for those around Mind-rot. I understand, from a friend second-hand, that the Minot Daily News didn't have one iota of a story about D-Day this year???? The only reference to June 6th was the date on the front page headline and a Peanuts cartoon in the comic section. Is that true...

    Prop repair

Prop Works in Bismarck costs $170 to redo a stainless, payment upfront of service. A new stainless prop is $325, if a three-blade. I had a High-Five on my former Triton and it was over $500 for a new one. OUCH.

    Frying Oil ???

Best tasting after the deep-fry: Peanut oil Healthiest options: Coconut oil Unhealthiest options: Soy, Canola, Vegetable, etc. (label says 'hydrogenated' = the death skull process placed in a bottle for your home use & increased medical expenses) :;:sorry;:;badidea;:;blahblah

    Boat ramp etiquette question

There are times where you cannot leave your boat tied to the dock with a line of boats sitting at the Ready Line, especially on a busy day at the State Park ramp. It's a long hike up the hill and possible over a couple of rows to get your truck parked. Just move the boat over to the dirt and...

    that first colocoscopy

I remember laying on the gurney and the IV drip getting squeezed for the 'sleep juice' to go into my system. Next thing I know I open my eyes three hours later and the entire room is cleaned up and the nurses are looking at me. One then says "well, it's about time!" The entire thing felt...

Allowed to shame people on here?

With the guy that pulls up to fish in your 100' deep spot, you should pull out some lunkers from the live well and hoist 'em in the air, saying "Just got three big ones in the past 20 minutes".... and see if he tries the 3oz weights to get to the bottom quicker. Tell him a BLUE spinner is...

    ? for you hockey pucks

What do you call a toothless shark? Abominable Snowman!! (Pun, if you've ever seen Rudolf cartoon) Maybe Thorton and Pavelski are relying on Jones TOO MUCH? Better hope he doesn't pull a groin muscle with all that left-right movement he endures every night. ;:;popcorn

    ? for you hockey pucks

Absorbed the Penguins back from Mario Lemieux days in the 80's. Been a Steelers fan since the early seventies and when I finally learned about hockey/rules, and the fact that all the Pittsburgh teams have identical colors, I grabbed onto their coattails. I've watched all of their Stanley...

    length of battery life fishing

You can choose to add an entry to your main Lowrance unit to display your voltage. When you see it dropping below 8v, then idle your engine so that the alternator can put some life back into your battery. However, if you're already dying that early it's definitely the end of life cycle for...

Well my boat has built in AC now....

I had the sport shields on my Triton. Hated them. The only thing they did was block some rain when riding up on plane. Other than that I thought they were worthless. Now, I really appreciate a walk-thru windshield. Not only does it block out that same rain, but a hug amount of NoDak wind...
