    All new powertrain's for GM

I don't see the 5.3 and 6.2 V8 EcoTec engines going away as they are pretty fresh designs. I've seen spy photos of the next gen GM 1/2" ton filling up with diesel fuel. No word on make/model of engine though. Could bring back the 4.5 V8 Duramax design they shelved years ago. That was a GM in...

    Casino Fiasco

I heard the format this year involves taking your weigh-in and using that number on a roulette wheel. Winners get a choice of a new boat or the "mystery box".

58 foot tracks on a 20.5 foot boat

Has Cisco tracks on the gunnels. I'm assuming they are 58" long not 58' as the add states.

    Leaders flouro, XT, XL etc

I agree but there are some other advantages to fluorocarbon for leaders. It's move UV resistance so it won't break down overtime if in the sun. It's also generally has more abrasive resistance.

    Leaders flouro, XT, XL etc

I have been using Seaguar Red Label 17lb fluorocarbon for my spinner harnesses. Seems to work well and isn't very expensive.

    Jig weight vrs bb weight

I have used a 3oz BB in 30' of water and still felt like I had to let a lot of line out to reach bottom (1.2 MPH). Seems like you would have to let a LOT of line out to reach bottom in 60' with a 1oz bouncer (unless I suppose you are trolling really slow).

    Boat Rod holders

I also have the Cabelas rod holders and they are well built. $52 for a set of 4 with bases is hard to beat. I purchased Scotty brand extensions and they fit perfect. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Cabelas-HT-Rod-Holder/1586568.uts?

    Keeping Female Walleyes

On top of that, only some lakes have any successful natural walleye reproduction. Most smaller bodies of water rely on stocking to maintain the population. The larger systems that have some natural reproduction (Missouri, DL) aren't really affected much by fisherman (at least in the long term)...

    Deep Blue Seafood - Fargo

I have been there for lunch and almost ordered 'The Moby' until I realized it was two sandwiches. Ordered 'The Guppy' instead which is just once sandwich. It was very good with a big piece of fish. I'll definitely stop in again sometime.

    Devils Lake starting to rise

I just checked the USGS gauge for Devils lake and it's showing a steady rise over the last two weeks: The chatter I have been hearing is that the lake could potentially rise a few feet this year. I know last year the Pelican access was not usable. Any ideas on what the minimum lake elevation...

    Best boat shoes

Keen's during the summer. You can jump in the water if you have to and not worry about them absorbing moisture. Also protect your toes against hooks and rabid northerns.

Tiger muskie out of Devils Lake?

I saw this on Lakeview Lodges's Facebook page. No description on the photos but someone asked "How big was the muskie?" but no answer as of this posting. If this is a tiger muskie, don't they have to be 48" to keep? Looks pretty long...
