    Getting the "SNIP"

    Had it done in 2013... no clue as to how much it ended up being through Sanford but it wasn't terrible. Climbed a treestand 5 days later and shot a deer with my bow so you could say i didn't have any complications. Just bruising and some tenderness.

    I am with Juan... Manhattan's are my drink of choice. Although i prefer barrel proof bourbon (Stagg Jr, Knob Creek Single Barrel, Turkey Rare Breed, etc...) to his Rye. Rye is just too sweet to my tastes to add vermouth too, although i will do it on occasion but will be very Rye heavy 4:1-5:1...

    How beneficial are fishing reports anyway???

    I enjoy the fishing reports quite a bit, very rarely look at lakes that i don't/won't be fishing anytime soon though. The muddin' reports are a must read for me to see what's happening back home.

    I have caught walleye trolling jointed shad-raps at 3.8-4.0 mph... this early summer already.Also, caught some dandy bluegills at the same speeds. Now is it an ideal trolling speed, no more times than yes, but in the absence of a trolling motor you make due with what you have.

    losing a best friend...

    Sorry to hear what you are about to go through. I had to put my lab down 2 weeks past her 10th bday this past February due to severe kidney disease. Was a hard time for the whole family as she was my wife and i's first kid before the boys were born. Condolences to you and your family.
