    Welcome Leroy...not a hunter either. My boat goes into storage Saturday as well...had her serviced in Garrison this week...pick her up Friday, might dump her in at Stevenson Friday morning and fish for a couple hours.

    Welcome Phil...good luck with the move. You'll have lot's of ice fishing opportunities this year. Lake Audubon, 60 miles north of Bismarck, usually has a good early ice bite in the shallow bays.

    Damn you B...depressing as heck even reading this! On Saturday, surface water temps on Audubon-main lake still 48-49. NE bays were sitting at 46-48. In the 6 years I've been ice fishing, earliest I've been on walkable ice has been first weekend in November.

    Went this afternoon...fished west side of Audubon...water temps 48-49...was windy and cold but at least I got the boat out...not sure how many more times she'll see the water this year!

    Yeah it sucks Short...gonna plan to fish through Halloween weekend then get the boat serviced...in to storage she goes first weekend in November. Fishing for me anyway hasn't been great this season but I have had the boat out alot...tomorrow will be her 44th trip this season!#$%^&>

    I've got double sided Gorilla tape...was thinking about taping a blanket to the windshield walk thru door to cover that open space between the windshield and the rod locker. Figured it would help keep whatever heat the Buddy heater generates too!
