    They used to make edger tools. But they left big swirl marks. I stained quite a few and unless you sanded around the edges the swirls showed up bad.

    My fishing buddy has had nothing but trouble with his kicker motor. Always ran ethanol. He finally listened to me and switched to premium. Just like that it runs good. But the mechanics miss his yearly carb tune up.

    Have to agree with Allen. The trip from the dock to Eckroths can be interesting. More so this year. I heard that with the low water it has changed a bunch from the turn east to the rifle range. You should have seen it after the flood in 2011. That was crazy.

    Ice Conditions OAHE

    We were at Cattail this morning. Iced up good. The wind must have blown it in Saturday. We went to Beaver and launched. Drove through about one hundred yards of ice to get to open water. There were several boats out. Fishing was crazy but not much for size.

    I haven't heard if the dog was chipped or not. From what I understand the dog was running wild until just recently. At least it is now being taken care of.

    Walleye tastes better and it won’t take much to get a Muley doe. November is when the pig walleyes bite. This wouldn’t be a first for me. Fishing is normally really good this time of the year.

    We were out pheasant hunting yesterday and there was ice on the small ponds and creeks. Only the dogs crossed it. It's all going to melt in November. I hope.

    Can Opener that is Worth a $hit

    Our Pampered Chef can opener has held up for many years. Pricey but it works. Those Walmart cheapies are worthless. The smooth edge openers cut a lid that won't cut your fingers off.
