    ND E-posting 2022

The old rules were if there's a sign, stay the hell off; no sign, have at it. Hunters knew it and landowners knew it. When that became difficult to understand I'm not sure. I've said it before but there's been a big change in the hunter/landowner dynamic. Not so long ago, farmers would love to...

    Corner jumping court case.

The government doesn't own land. Government agencies manage the land. You and I own the land. I normally find your posts entertaining but this one is out there. I hope you are trolling. With no "government" lands, have fun ever accessing a lake or river again. And the national grasslands are...

    Corner jumping court case.

They buy the surrounding land, the politicians, and the judge to keep the peasants away. Like George Carlin said; it's a big club, and you ain't in it.

    OAHE Smelt Run

Do you guys keep them for bait or for a smelt fry? Never ate one but I’d love to get into them either way.

    Kayak question

Keep an eye out at runnings. I’ve seen one there and at scheels. Pretty penny though.

    Motorcycles

Yeah, sometimes the wrecks are caused by someone on a bike riding like a jackass. I almost hit a guy in Billings last year, like centimeters away. I was changing lanes, checked my mirror and looked over my shoulder, merged and he squeezed by doing about 120. With everyone around me doing 50 you...

    Motorcycles

The first summer I had a bike I put close to 6k miles on it. Life got in the way of riding that much these days but I still love being on 2 wheels. Stay safe, it’s not you that’ll cause a wreck, it’s everyone else not paying attention!

    Fun facts: .22lr

Really anything .22lr is a fun fact besides ammo shortages. A 10/22 with a can and subsonic ammo is almost too much fun. The action and smack of the bullet are louder than the report.

Number 1 Game and Fish violation in 2021.....

The boiling isn't necessary. A warden told me for it to be legal you need to remove the hide / muscles, eyes, lower jaw, brain, and vertebrae. I guess CWD prions live only in the face of an animal.

    Garbage People

Its illegal to leave fish, including bait, behind on the ice. -Straight out of the regs. Leaving the lake the same, if not better than a guy finds it isn’t hard.

Crazy that there’s not a taxidermist in watford. You could always go somewhere close in MT.

    Moose Poaching

It’s officially cheaper to poach 5 moose here than it is to travel to a destination and bag one. Don’t even need to worry about a lottery.

    ND elk tag auction

Personally I don’t care if someone raises elk, and what they do with them is up to them. But if your going to call out conservation organizations for “commercializing wildlife” when you do the same, I’m gonna call you out. You don’t like Delta, BHA or DU, don’t donate. They aren’t coming on...

    ND elk tag auction

God forbid there's government programs out there to save a little habitat and improve water quality. Also, the NDNRT's budget is only the interest gained from their initial funding. Selling an elk tag for 30k would go a long way towards their landowner cost sharing programs. I'm pretty far...

    Electronic Posting

Right on. My view: if you want to post your land, more power to you. Reason doesn't matter, its your land your rules. What I believe is driving a wedge between everyone is this group on this strange crusade to "restore landowner rights". Trying to control how everyone else manages their land...
