I agree it'll be a cluster fuck. I can see it also as an excuse to ignore posted signs. They'll just say well it was open on the internet and I didn't see the sign on the gate or the other 4 on the corner posts.
I'd so much rather it would just stay as it is. No problem with the current laws...
Sometimes I like to tie a blade from a swedish pimple or similar lure on first then 4 to 6 inches of line with a plain hook on it. The shiny blade will flash when the minnow wiggles drawing them in is my hope.
I'm a land owner that posts most of my land. I see both sides of this issue. I've heard from many landowners that would like to see this passed. I don't really feel that this is the answer. I think the current laws are ok but maybe need stiffer penalties. I almost always let anyone that asks...
I don't know if older hunters should be given preference to a tag but I certainly agree that younger hunters should be given preference to a tag. Its great that they have youth tags but how many of those kids will keep an interest in hunting if they have to wait multiple years to draw a tag...
I wonder if bottled doe pee could transmit it. Seems they collect it from a captive herd which could have a positive animal. Hunter dumps doe pee on ground, prions survive in soil forever. Maybe unlikely but it sure seems werid how it spreads. I'm sure deer do move quite some distance but still...

Myself, I'd like a piston driven, side charged ar15. Probably build one in .223, maybe one in 6.5 grendel but the grendel would probably be DI as it might be more accurate.
A baiting ban would put an end to some of the outfitters in our state. It would certainly change bowhunting for many people. One question I have is would they then ban the baiting of turkeys? How about the feeding of songbirds? Just so happens my birdfeeder has a treestand next to it.
