    I Phone or Samsung need advice

    “F’n Carp”.....haha, I see what you did there. All I’ve ever had is an iPhone. Never broke a screen, always works. Kinda shopping for an new phone too as mine is a few years old. I will go with whichever phone becomes affordable. If I have to pay top $$, I will stick with Apple.

    I’m not terribly surprised to hear horsehead sucked. Seems to be hit or miss and I have missed my last couple of times there too. That’s why it was the last one on my suggested list. :) Better luck next time.

    For pike under 10lbs you could try in order of how I would rate them: Etta Alkaline Complex, Helen, Cherry, Horsehead. Beaver Bay on Oahe for a chance at a big one but I haven’t had much luck for numbers in recent years.

    I prefer to fish on the ice and not in a shack but I also like to be comfortable so the hub comes along. For you guys that use flip overs, doesn't that force you to fish by yourself or if you do have company, aren't you fishing very close to each other?

    During the low water years, I and my son were looking for fishable water at Beaver Bay on Oahe. First hole had 2 feet of ice and 3 feet of water, we drove on the ice south looking for more depth. Stopped and drilled a couple times, always 2 feet of ice but shallow water. Got to the last spot...

    Yep, get a Mac if you have no budget. We bought an Asus from BestBuy a couple years ago....pretty sure it was less than a grand. Touch screen (wouldn't have needed this), solid state drive, a terabyte hard drive, folds into a tablet (don't use that feature). She does graphics all day long...
