What do you do when not hunting/fishing?

Reload, shoot, ride my cycle. I have a two month old grandchild, so that is a nice addition. Anything outside is fine with me; better if you can drink beer while doing it.

California man takes advantage of ND

Thumbs Up Nice to see it's not someone from Wisconsin for once. Fines in both states (ND,SD) are not high enough to discourage this kind of activity. They view it as part of the cost of going out of state to 'hunt'.

    Calling our Lost Members

Go under 'settings' at the top, it's not under 'profile', I spent a little too much time figuring that out. - - - Updated - - - Good to see Svn's up and rolling. Wild Turkey

I've never had tender wild turkey, maybe you got an odd one? That being said, the flavor always makes up for the toughness; flavor of a wild turkey is way better than any commercially raised turkey you will ever have. Legs are great brined and smoked.

    Slow Death Rigs

Thumbs Up You and my father in law. It's always good down here, just sometimes the fishing's good too.

    Slow Death Rigs

I use them plain, maybe put a bead on. 3-5 foot leader. I do not use them with a spinner, too much going on; I tried it when they first came out and didn't notice any improvement over regular hook and spinner. I use a whole crawler or a half, start with a whole and see how the fish hit. If...

    Vollmer - Owner

Hey, I'm from Mobridge, grew up in Dickinson. I hunt mostly for deer and elk. I am finishing a graduate course, graduating next Saturday from U of Mary, so the last two years the hunting can be measured in hours. Normal years I hunt somewhere around 60-80 days. Occasionally I put an arrow...
