    Knee surgery coming up!

    I went through two knee surgeries on my right knee. The first was to repair a small tear. Turned out much worse. Three months later it was better. Two years later it was replaced. Three months of pain before it calmed down. Not fun but we'll worth it. Takes a while to get the muscles back...

    Heirloom tomatoes. The Cherokee Green tomatoes are very sweet and seem to be disease resistant with heavy yields.

    Houston is the 4th largest city in the US. Like most big cities there are lots of people without cars and or money. Evacuation for many is just not an option.

    I bought a burly weight flannel shirt from Duluth. They are the best. My son wears their flex firehose pants for work. Can't wear them out.

    Wildlife vs. The Drought of '17

    It's much greener around Bismarck. The recent rains are offering a glimmer of hope. Too late for some but the weather seems to be backing off a bit. Those extra hot days in September seem to trigger EHD. Hopefully the cooler weather will stay around.
