    opens Wednesday, I talked to Montana game and fish and some blm land is walk in only and no driving on grass covered roads because of fire danger. they also recommended carrying water and fire fighting gear in your vehicle. hoping the huns had a good hatch and survived the drought.

    havent seen the latest regulations but you used to be able to fish a tributary up to the first road crossing with a out of state license on a river that acts as the dividing line between states. people with mn license used to fish the dam on the pembina river at pembina and could fish both sides...

    ford triton engines suck to work on, I actually stopped working on them in my shop one too many sparkplug fiascoes. all the new engines have VVT engines the best thing you can do is change oil and use the mfg recomended oil. Most of the VVY issues i see the engine oil is past due.

    Training collars

    I have often wondered when i see pointers in the field and there are 2 or 3 antennas sticking off the dogs collars, then i saw how far there pointers worked ahead of them. I started training dogs before the collar craze and have never used one. I agree they are a good tool if used properly.

    if you ask me the dmv is the worst place to have to go, I've changed titles on a lot of vehicles and always leave there feeling like i did something wrong.
