    Crown Royal Texas Mesquite

Good whisky, scotch or bourbon served on the rocks....all that other infused squirrel piss is for hipsters. Damn waste of money. People who mix good booze with pop should go back to their wine coolers. As you were.

    Weather and walleye

My experience has been that they like a run of stable weather pressures. Typically 3 or more days. Changes in pressure generally shut them down. Do NOT be afraid of fishing in sub-zero temperatures especially if it has been cold for a few days....as that usually means high pressure has settled...

    Christmas shopping.

Men don't shop. We buy things. We buy things we need. Not things we think are cute that clutter the house, or that my friend Suzie bought and said it worked really well.... even though we will use twice per year...like an air fryer.

    Ice Auger

I have had a Jiffy 30 for the past 18 years. Runs great on TrueFuel but is starting the down hill slide. Used a buddies new Strikemaster 40v this weekend and that is one nice unit. Lightweight and cuts ice like a raped ape. Batteries can be charged in a vehicle I guess. I'm going to wait and see...

    Baffin Sizing

For those who wear Baffins, they seem to run small....how many sizes did you go up. I tried on pairs 1 size and 2 sizes bigger. The 2 sizes bigger seemed to fit the best but I'm curious how much the insulation inside the boot will mat down over time. I don't want to go 2 sizes larger only to...

    Hak's Flyer days numbered?

From what I'm hearing there was friction between Hak and Hextal. Hak wanted to fire the assistant coach long ago. Hextal had really dug his heals in on making any trades, or bringing up Carter Hart...Hak wanted the players he needs to win. Hak is fine. They are interviewing Fletcher this...

    Boat price negotiation

I know Vallely is pretty firm on their prices. Unfortunately in ND the boat sales are strong and they know if you don't want to pay their price someone else will. I will say I have been impressed with their customer service and, at least in my world, that has some value.

    remember when...

Remember when there were no social classes. Growing up it didn't matter who you were or what your parents did or how much money you had. You learned your place in quickly in a world where you couldn't hide behind a key board. Life had a pecking order. You learned to give respect to those who...
