    Buddy had some concentrate and I mixed up a gallon for spot treatment last weekend. 2oz/Gal measured out in the concentrate cap then dumped into the 1Gal sprayer. Weeds were "melting" 24hrs later.

    I had that happen with a 6Amp Hr FlexVolt right away as well. DeWalt had another out to me very quickly, no questions asked. I took my defunct battery to Acme for recycling. I didn't figure zapping a tool, or needing a battery and having it crap out was worth trying to fix it.

    More likely poor cleaning of the cylinders than them being flame-cut. I'd put Flitz or Iosso on a bronze-brush, put the brush on a short section of cleaning rod, put that short section of cleaning-rod into a cordless drill, and get the carbon-ring gone.
