    Been going out early for years and yes I drain my trailer also carry sand just incase someone didn't drain there trailer. I watched a guy dock out after me one time and he blasted out of the water so fast left a wake up on the ramp well on his rush to get back to his boat after parking the truck...

    if you can max the motor out, I bought a crestliner sc with a 75hp on it the boat was rated for a 90hp I bought the 90hp last year and tell you the truth the boat is way better now. a 16 ft boat is prefect for the river or small lakes.

    snow, you use to do the pwt did you camp up at pickcity by any chance, if so I know you. If it is you, you gave me powerbaits when they first were showing up. gill netting = no fish. If gill netting continues the dnr need to step up replacement there is no option to this or gill netting ends...

    didn't have that much rain in Bismarck so didn't catch any. The first good rain of the spring is the best time usually get at least 15 to 20 dozen enough for the year just in my yard.

    Jess is my 3 lab trained all myself with a little help from books. don't get me wrong but that's half the fun of a hunting dog is training them. the part that sucks is you only get about 10 years of hunting with them so I enjoy every moment .

    for the 30+ years fishing on the river I have seen the same thing over and over, people catching big fish and keeping them. It has gotten better in terms of more people letting them go in the last 10 years. My opinion on letting tribes gill net, now that is a whole new page......

    We as fisherman have a right to fish the water we bought a fishing lic. for. as far as keeping all the 20" and better fish that's a personal decision. as far as that goes I don't keep fish over 20" no need. To may be people do it for (bragging rights) because I think they (20" or bigger) fish...

    it can be price higher because of the amount of buying did to that stock. that why you hear the word (correction) in the market. At the start of the year we had a correction because a lot of the stocks were overpriced. That's the way I understand it. if I'm wrong please correct me.
