    If you're driving a semi or something heavy yes. Some places do that with the trucks. Passenger cars & pickups makes no difference. The roads would last hundreds of years if that was all that drove on them.

    I have a long drive everyday and the best tip I could give anyone is look down the road farther. You can usually see when something is going to be an issue before you get to it if you look past the hood ornament. If there's going to be a clog, take it off cruise and kick her down and get by it.

    Really the only advice for the OP is to find someone he trusts to do estate planning. Everyone's situation is different and will require a different plan. My plan is to retire at 62 and have no cash left (will still have my house, vehicles, ,etc.) when I'm 75. Donating your body to science...

    I wouldn't buy it or life insurance for that matter. I believe the benefit is for the people selling it more than anything else. I'm sure someone selling it will come on here and tell me how stupid I am. Just my opinion.

    I'm not bashing him, just commenting on his tournament success (or lack of lately). Personally I think he does a lot for local fishing, with being head of the Lake Region Anglers as well as all the seminars he does.

    Meh. You have to compare total compensation, not just wage. There is a lot of minimum wage type people in the service also. To me the letter writer lost all validity when hw decided to denigrate the minimum wage worker. I have respect for anyone that works, regardless of where they're at in life.

    You are right about the rpms they run and the difference in the load of a boat vs. a car. I've had a few 350 chevys that would run 6000 all day and they weren't very expensive to build. I just don't get how a 350 HP outboard costs 5 times as much as a 350 HP crate motor for a car.
