I checked out the Pistol Bit and talked to a guy at the Eskimo booth about the blades, he never actually said they fit or not but claimed he wouldn't do it as it probably wouldn't perform near as good, I am guessing fewer hole per battery. I should have walked out with a Kdrill but might have...
Heat source can help and a fan as well, won't cure all of it but most and can be a slow process at times. I have the same issue and normally just use a fan or two, the one thing I have noticed is every once in a while I need to open a window when it seems like it isn't working that good and I am...
After I wear out my Vexilar Bibs I will probably be switching to Strikers. Nothing wrong with the Vex's but would like a little heavier duty at times, wore my carhartts for years with success but they just iced up so much more. Got Stricker gloves and have been impressed with them.
I was thinking about going to the Mucks after I beat my ice armors for 4yrs into retirement. Got a couple buddies with Lacrosse's and I was planning to replace with Striker or Muck but the deal on these were too good and feel more comfortable and have way better ankle support. V's studded...
I think I grabbed my pair about 10min after you after I found out that Striker didn't have theirs there or in the store again. My plan was to walk out with a pair of something and had 3 types including these on my potential list. How have you likes the studded insoles so far?
Have had a couple Barronett Grounder 350 blinds and like them pretty well. Its been awhile since I bought one but I think I got both on sale for around $70-$80 and they were $100 range originally. Buddy has a big Mike and it is got even more room and taller but is a little on the big side.
Meh, whats the worse that can really happen. In a little over 5yrs I think I'm only at 2 augers (hand and gas), 2 fish houses (soon to be 3), 11-13 rods, one flasher, no Ranger and ooh ooh, um um, I can explain, ah crap.
This interests me but considering I am a big cry baby about needles I will need to get more laid up than I am now. About 2.5yrs ago maybe should have looked into it with my major SI joint/nerve issue.
Picked up a pair of the Korkers Polar Vortex 1200 at Scheels Ice Fest ($240 reg but rung up as $100). Haven't been on the ice with them yet but wore them sitting in my popup blind for rifle and cant complain. I normally wear 10.5-11 and their 11 seemed true but was a little tight on the sides...
The cartoon pictures they use gave me a chuckle. Might not be a bad unit though for that price and the limited amount some might use them because of water clarity, I know most places I fish are not very camera friendly but when you can get use out of one they are so fun to use.
I sometimes wonder if a guy gets previous models that were carry overs especially if there is no physical or packaging changes (salesmen are normally salesmen and usually not mechanics). I guess if there were times I wanted my small jigs to unspool faster I probably did just the same tricks I...
