    No Drink January

God bless everyone in 2020 with good health and good fishing. As I read thru these posts and consider the idea of reducing my own alcohol consumption, my mind drifts to warm summer days on the boat...and what it feels like reaching into an ice filled cooler...pulling out an ice covered...

    The Official Wentz Wagon Thread

    Audubon

I fish Audubon regularly...for several reasons. During ice season, since I do not have an ATV or snowmobile, Audubon is walkable until the ice is thick enough to drive trucks out. Second, it's close to home for me...less than 50 miles from my front door. Third, when we do get snow and some lakes...

    Need Handgun advice

That's a good point...and to piggy back I will say when I first fired the S&W I couldn't consistently group to save my life. It has more recoil than the M9s I fired in the military for years. I put about 500 rounds thru the gun before I became consistent and confident with the S&W.

    Lake Audubon walleyes

Northland glow jigs and Lindy wally talkers good for dead sticking. Jigging raps and slab raps at times can also be good when the fish want something aggressive. Agree completely with dschaible. The south side of the refuge can be good as well as the Velva point area and the bays around the...
