    How many of you get much meat off of the neck? Do you try to cut the silver skin out of the individual muscle or do you just toss the whole hunk of meat in the grinder. Same with the front shoulder but with more tendons. I pretty much just get the roast out of the shoulder. I don’t get that much...

    Went to the RAP auction in minot a couple years ago and the prices on guns went crazy low. Benelli SBE going for $400-500. Rifles with scope for about the same. I should have bought multiple guns that day.

    Well a guy should be able to find pork butts or shoulders for $1 a pound here soon. I’d go with trimmings if they are cheaper but if not I’d just get the whole pork.

    Waterfowl Minimums

    Most of my waterfowl goes into sticks and turns out great and you have no idea it is waterfowl. One year I didn’t get a deer so I took my 12# of goose and made sausage with the hunters seasoning. Best sausage of all the meat we made that year.

    Waterfowl Minimums

    At a bare minimum all a guy needs is a spinning wing decoy and waders or a way to retrieve ducks out of the water. I have shot ducks over 6 cheap floaters and I have shot ducks over a single spinning wing decoy. A guy can also jump shoot off the road but do not bust any roosts in the process...

    North Dakotans have high expectations for all of their teams. Winning seasons are not good enough and they expect deep playoff runs every year. Are we lucky the Sioux don’t have losing seasons very often ? Yes

    I wonder what waterfowl will stick around? At least the dogs can find you some birds on Saturday. Might not have to take any shots to fill a limit...... Anybirds out east will take the brunt of it.

    Plenty wet over here.

    Potatoes and beet harvest will not be fun especially if we start getting some hard freezes. Don’t want the beets too muddy but don’t want to harvest them when it is cold out. Hopefully the farmers can get some dry warm weather. I guess this is why all the beet truck have safe t pulls on them
