    Moose broadhead question...

Magnus are good choice and ive shot numerous deer with them, but i would opt for muzzy 3 blades. Hard to beat the toughness of muzzy.

Last year's deer tag break down

Thats BS. Why is their private business deserving of a gift from the State of ND? All the while leasing everything out and locking the gates... I suppose its not much different than the state of WY requiring non residents to hire a guide to hunt federally owned wilderness. Stack the deck.

Last year's deer tag break down

Slow down a second, whats this business about outfitters getting tags? As in, they sell them to whoever from wherever? I wasn't aware this was taking place in ND. Is that really happening?

    hunting bullets for 308 winchester

How are you going to be utilizing the gun for the most part? If strictly a big game rifle I'd opt for the 168's. Can't go wrong with the TTSX. They pack a punch and can handle any North American sized game. If a truck gun for any and all activities, i'd shoot whatever is on sale.

Drawing the big 3 before I die

Agreed. But the landowners who get those gratis tags, dont support a bigger herd. Quite the conundrum.

Drawing the big 3 before I die

Repeated Gratis should go, but if it goes to points system, it will be nothing but a bunch of geriatrics pushing their walker's around by the time they draw. Who the hell wants that? You WILL NOT draw early in life if it goes to a points system. No thanks. If I get to the point where I...

    Wormwood!

Baby's breath is a nasty one. I would try Plateau/Tordon mix if you can spray Restricted Use. But be careful, that mix can produce scorched earth. Maybe start with 2,4 D? I've never tried milestone on it. Alot of times the issue isn't your property, its everyone around you. Tough to manage for...

    Wormwood!

Milestone is very effective on broadleafs, especially thistle, and wormwood. If mixed to label you shouldnt have any issues with grass. It will only target forbs. It also has a 3 year residual, so by if you treat an area in consecutive years it should be cleaned up nicely after year two...

Advice on 18" 10 ply tires

I run firestone destination a/t 18's and have been pleased but the tread may be a little much for you if your focused on highway. Got 65k out of my last set and just put another set on. Half ton crew cab chevy.

    New steering in Boat

Replaced mine on an older lund. It was so seized up that it finally snapped under the steering column. It was an evening and a 12 pack kind of job. Just make sure you test the steering prior to going in water, as I shamefully inverted the parts. Made for an interesting load job at the dock after...

    No licenses for non landowners

A very valid point. And I would potentially be okay with that. The reality is that we have a limited resource, and there will only be more competition for that resource as the years go by. More people on this planet and in this state. I guess my point is that if the ONLY solution is one tag, I...

    No licenses for non landowners

Man. Thats a heck of a problem over 20-30 years. Few grand every winter. Probably could have built one heck of a deer fence with those funds. I know I dont let recurring problems drain my wallet on an annual basis. You fix them. At one crazy time I believe GNF even cost shared....crazy!

    No licenses for non landowners

I lobbied hard against the one tag system last year. Not because i want to shoot more then 1 deer, but because they were taking away my opportunity to pursue deer. They wanted me to pick a weapon, thats BS. Give me my tag, and let me hunt till my little hearts content with any weapon I...
