    On a lake i'm used to fishing i'll avoid them or just go to another lake, but if it's a lake i'm not accustomed to i'll probably fish the outskirts of a shanty city. Summer fishing is where I enjoy my solitude the most. Hardwater i'm already pent up in a house for 3/4 of the year.

    I have a varidesk. I love it. Something about working at a desk most days bothers me already, let alone sitting on my ass. At least being able to stand occasionally, for longer periods of time, makes me feel like my balls are dropping again.

    Agree on the canal. It's either highly underrated, or just not talked about or fished enough. I found some real hot spots in there and nothing ever came close to it's consistency of catching several species of fish.
