    Not many people hunt private land in WY because most of it is outfitted. A huge majority of the people in WY rely on the public land to hunt or otherwise would have nowhere else to go.

    I have it on jigging rods as a leader. About 4’ 10# flouro leader material tied to power pro with a uni to uni knot. If I am using a bait caster I use straight flourocarbon since twist isn’t an issue. I don’t use a small swivel because I don’t want to risk messing up a guide

    Hunter safety in Minnesota schools

    I took a hunter safety class at central campus in Minot back in the day. It was nice to take it during school and get credit for an elective. I think every school should offer it as some may never get another easy opportunity.

    My kids can do whatever they want, but some coaches are not instilling the kind of character and lessons I want them to learn.     I would seriously look into the Sig P365. The small gun handles really well with big hands and can hold up to 12 rounds of 9mm. I myself am looking into a Sig M17 or a Sig 320 x carry. Both are same price but the M17 comes with a rebate for 2-21 rd mags free
