for you pickup mechanics out there

Gotta love small block Chevy's dontcha? Simple design, easy and cheap to maintain. Now we have all this over engineered junk, that when it breaks, costs more than it's worth to fix.

So it takes them 20-30 hours to change a cam? I understand what you're saying.

The problem is why does it cost $3,500 to replace cam/lifters, top end stuff, etc. You can buy complete crate motors for about that.

    What would you recommend?

If you want a legitimate answer, go ahead and list off your annual family income and expenses for us. Personally, I would not make payments on anything used. Save up for a couple of years and get the best bost you can without going into debt.

Boating Etiquette on the Missouri river

On a Blue Plater lake with one point yes. I certainly wasn't covering 30,000 acres (10%) from shore.

Boating Etiquette on the Missouri river

And the shorefisherman would say I was here for hours before you showed up with your boat. I don't get pissed, just can't believe the lack of common sense/courtesy of some people. And in reality it's only a very small percentage that are like this. Most people I see fishing do things the right...

Boating Etiquette on the Missouri river

What's hard for the shorefisherman to understand is 300,000 acres of water and the guy in the boat has to come by and snag your line. You have a boat and the fish are everywhere.
