    I have dead bolts on all exterior doors. Two lap dogs bark like hell when they hear most anything. The loaded 12 gauge is real handy if all else fails.

    Make your life easier. Build raised beds. Even if you till that clay it will always be clay. Carrots grow like crazy in raised beds.

    After the hunt!

    I use the skid plate on my Britt and it works with adjustments. I did get her a small for her this year. Last year she had a medium and it was just a bit big. Once in a while she managed to get a front leg caught up, she just kept on hunting . On three legs. God I'm going to miss her some day.
