Not for slip bobbers or Carolina Rigs per se: These are for dedicated rods with "freedom" and "intent": The above^^^^will result in a "short stop".
That is all.
I love braided line; I was good enough as a kid to hook and lose a lot of big fish due to line failure thanks to Bill, Al, Roland, Babe, etc from the bank:
With braid; ALL spools can be "considered" "fly reels'": Be creative:
He's safe from Ebola and his penis is not going to turn into jerky after a few days pissing hot orange Jell-o after Le Monjello's wife's bat pate' and locust chip snacks. Get real Man!
^^^^The Interceptors I spoke of above are the HP's. He said he wasn't a "good shot" though I don't believe he practiced serious technique for groups. I can get .30cal hole with three with both V's and I's.
The V's shoot 4in high left out of my cheap ass Marlin.
PowerBait Trout Paste floats and could be injected into a lively night crawler in conjunction with a worm blower...:
For "game fish"; I believe a "-------" presentation is important. For cats I wouldn't hesitate to hook up a "ball" and present a "Y".
That is all:
I have my own prejudices and concerns:
Is it stamped "California", "Japan" or "worse"?
Weatherby ammo is only designed for "speed" and "power". Factory ammo (Weatherby specific) has become a "curiosity" and "collectable" like baseball cards, KISS or Star Trek. IMHO
In Africa .460 rifles...
Sorry boss. I'd be pissed with that. I can keep ten in a nickel now. Used to keep ten in a .45 hole with Win T22s. This is without a "day fucker" which plagues rimfire ammo.
What is your casting distance? What is the angle of the rod? How does the rod behave in the current? How do you detect a hit? Is hook set imperative?
Rapala has greatly improved "their" hooks and chosen garbage lips especially with Shad Raps.
