What is the biggest Walleye you have ever caught?

I've landed an 8.25# ice fishing at New Johns in 2003, a 7.75# pulling cranks near Pick City in 2006, and helped bring in a 31"/11# eye out of Audubon on a guy's first day lake fishing ever in his life in 2013. I know many people go an entire lifetime with ever getting on the whopper club list...

    Sak East End Walleyes

I think everything is behind a few weeks because of the cooler weather in May. We speculate what activates fish biting, from barometric pressure, water temps, moon phase, etc. Well, temps are lower than average. I was a Van Hook last weekend and it's running behind there, too. The bay is...

    Mosquito control

Blue Martins return yearly if you erect their style of birdhouse. The mosquito and housefly are their main food source.

    UND nickname list is out

Yeah, 90% of those final names area a farce. You just gotta think Dr. Kelley is still running things behind the scene! My guess is they already HAVE a name chosen and it's just mixed in with a number of stupid names...... Voila, the winner! As I posted on Facebook media outlets with this...

    Mosquito control

The Cutter brand Backyard doesn't do too bad of a job for a couple months during the summer. Hook it up to your garden hose and spray around the firepit/patio. Had a family reunion over the July 4th holiday a couple years ago and not one person ended up with the skeeter torment. I just...

    Map Create 6

I have a Map Create 6 and the SD Card reader if your computer doesn't have the slot for an SD Card. A cheap $10 and postage okay?

    Sunscreen?

Banana Boat or Coppertone Sport 50 in the aerosol so I don't have to wipe the lotion onto my hands and apply. I also use the SPF-50 long sleeved shirts so the only spray is to the face/neck. I have the full brim hat with the sunscreen neck protector, so the only thing getting the sun is the...

    Trollmaster

I have the Trollmaster 2.0 and love it, the handful of times I have engaged the dial. That instant Idle button is fantastic. I remember so many days of having to hop to the back of the boat numerous times..... those days are gone!

    Lunchbox Items

Recently changed jobs and I only get 1/2hr for lunch time. I started bringing a lunchbox with. Sammiches may get a lil' old week after week. If you don't do lunch away from work, what are some of the things you take with to eat on your lunch breaks? Today is a chicken breast deli meat on...

what do you use for bite indecator on windy days???

If you happen to ice fish and own a set of Strike Sensor units you can also use them in the summertime. Just clip the very tip onto the line down near the reel. When a fish bites and takes some line the shunt pulls out of the transmitter and your beeper goes off. When the alligator clip bumps...

    How fast is your boat?

My last boat, Triton 189 and a 175hp Merc, topped out at 54mph. Now I have a Skeeter WX185 and a Yamaha 150. That much loss of horsepower was remarkable because now I'm only getting to 42mph.

    Congrats to NDA

While I currently look at both websites for relevant discussion, there probably will come a time that one takes over the other. I sure hope the 'Think They Know It All' types stay away!

    Live Bait vs Fake Bait

I go crawler hunting in April/May and usually get about 10-12 dozen to put in bedding. That may last me all summer, if I also integrate Gulp crawlers or leeches. I have 20pkgs of different forms of Gulp/plastics, too. I rarely ever buy real leeches anymore. They are costly and hard to maintain.
