    Lost Vexilar

There weren't 200 trucks, on Sat there were maybe 60 about 1 pm. And on Sun there were more like 45 to 50. On Mon maybe 30. There were alot more on Hobart. Add them all together and you will get 200 for the weekend.

Ice Fishing MYTHS that never die.

I have no idea where it happened. It was in Outdoor life back in the mid 70's.

Ice Fishing MYTHS that never die.

I remember reading in Outdoor Life, the This happened to me section, A guy talked about walking on ice and breaking thru and falling to the creek or river below. He said water had receded and he was 5 ft below the ice. and had to walk quite a distance to get out of his ice cave. This had to be...

    Which rifle

I have shot them side by side with 17 and 20 caliber bullets. If shooting small caliber if they are moly coated or back of bullet is painted black it will pick them up. I never tried 4000+. I just use my P35

    Which rifle

    2. Supposedly they don't pick up bullets over 4K FPS. I don't have anything loaded to that velocity, default to 1lessdog and his nearly 4300FPS 22-6MM for an explanation/confirmation. I was shooting over my P35 with my 22-6MM AI to get them speeds

    6mm Creedmoor

At that speed the NBT dont hold up and didn't shoot very good. I started to fireformed with 70 gr NBT and they shot great. After about 20 shots I went with the cream of wheat. If I can shoot a Coyote before he get to 250 yds or more there normally is not a exit. Them Blitzkings hold together...

    Which rifle

Get yourself a Labradar and sun and clouds have no effect on it. I was running a P35 Oehler and it would give me issues. Once I purchased the Labradar and the easy set up, its the only way to go. I can set it up in less that 5 mins.

    6mm Creedmoor

    In what caliber??
  15. 1lessdog

    6mm Creedmoor

Mine is 1 - 14 and shoot 40 to 70 gr real good. Once I went to the Blitzkings no other bullet came close to there performance.

    6mm Creedmoor

No I dont, I dont have a pack on my back. I have my calls on my neck and parachute cord in my pocket to drag my kills back to the truck. My rifle hold 5 shots and I carry 5 shells in a pocket. What more does a person need. - - - Updated - - - I looked at building a 17-204. Its either that or...

    6mm Creedmoor

First off I dont shoot a Coyote for the fur. Now days I sell them whole. I dont skin and flesh and dry them I did that for many yrs But to say a 6 mm ARC shooting 2950 FPS is the perfect round, I just get a charge out of that. I can see this scenario, You have a animal coming into the call. Hes...

Right hand shooter left eye dominate

SDMF has this to say about dominant eye. Pass me a ghost-ring rear, you can keep your notch and BB. SO much easier to gun open sights w/both eyes open when gunning an aperture rear very close to your eyes vs. a notch well ahead of them. Shooting with one eye closed is for people who didn't...

I got wood! Need custom stock built

Depend on how long the tree has been dead, it could take as long as 5 to 10 yrs for it to dry enough to make a rifle stock.
