    I got one of the Plano hat cases. Not one of the cheap ones but one of the imitation pelican cases. Prob paid $50 and way more sturdy than the cases mad just for ice rods.

    Audubon/Semi Crash

    Was driving up 83 when the first HP arriving to the scene. It was pretty icy but nothing too bad. That semi took a ton of guardrail out. Looked like a grain trailer.

    Rod holders

    No RAM and Scotty are not compatible with each other. The RAM holders can fit in the Scotty bases but do not lock in. Fish on rod holders are also not compatible.

    Line Preferece?

    Power pro ice tec is my go to. It is nice when fishing outside and you need to clear your line of ice. Rigged one of my rods with suffix 832 so we will see how that works in comparison

    I have some I fish pros and I use a milk crate to tote them around. May be able to fit one more or get the rectangle crate to fit even more.     This is a great tool. We now know what size fish in what proportions are in each lake. The game and fish is really doing a great job providing this type of information.

    Tons of birds were flying late in the day at about 4-5 pm around the big lake. Nice weather for them this last weekend. Hunts will get better as soon as the big lake locks up
