    I would say it has to do with the refresh rate of the flasher vs. LCD displays. I took an LCD up to Winnipeg last year and did well with it. I think the flashers are also easier on batteries.

    I am pretty sure that the ones in the walleye cup weren't 350's. I wouldn't want to race one in 3' waves. The one I was in last year had a 300 pro verado and would do an honest 56 mph on gps with 4 of us in it and a full live well with a tournament load. Two of my friends run 2015s with 350's...
