    Your neighbors water

One would be talking about flow of around a few thousand CFS. Does RO work? Absolutely, but a system setup to handle this would be in the billions of dollars in construction + O&M for the duration of the saline water. Probably 10s of billions.

    Your neighbors water

Eventually, yes. But how many years that would take is something I would guess is in the range of 10, or more. That's an awful long time to not have potable water downstream of Tolna Coulee.

    Your neighbors water

The problem with the Tolna coulee overflow is that the water would be coming from Stump Lake. Nobody in Valley City, Farhole, GF, or ???? wants water that saline as a drinking water source.

    Euthanize a pet...

I don't think suffocation is as humane as one might think. When you run low on oxygen, nothing else seems to matter.

    Harvest is STILL here guys...

I am going to hazard a guess that there are width restrictions on gravel roads without an over-width permit. Can't we all just agree that if the law is followed by all, nobody would have a reason to bitch?

    Anterior ankle pain

Lunk, I'd suggest looking up plantar fasciitus if I were you. I had it once, I was lucky and it self-resolved. It's annoying as hell while you have it though.

    financial advisor

p.s. Yes, you will have tax deductions for those losses. For that I suggest you talk with your tax preparer.

    financial advisor

As someone else mentioned, I am pretty disappointed in your advisor's decision to gamble with your money like that. It should have went into some form of a mutual fund or REIT which would have been a much safer and eventually more successful investment for you.

    The American Buffalo

While your last statement is probably true, one need not be a climate expert to recognize that things are not the same today as they were 30, 50 or 70 years ago. Any and every hunter and angler has noticed the change in ND. Our growing season is now 10+ days longer than it was in the early...

    Moles, voles, gophers???

Up Y'oars, I've been using the same kind of bait around my place for a few years now. It kills a bunch, but there are just some that refuse to eat poison. Bastards! I also augment the external bait stations with trays of this for those that make it into my shop.

Climate change liberal coolaid, ehh. Are you saying things like climate don't change, or?

    Harvest is STILL here guys...

I think this is a good case of frustration boiling over. We outdoorsy types are constantly reminding ourselves how to be more friendly and accommodating to our ag friends. If, let's say, one were to go to any farmer group's website (Farmer's Union, Farm Bureau, Stockmen's Associations, etc)...

    Pulling Boat Docks early?

I've been to places where the riverfront has been developed similarly to the suggested. The one thing they all have in common is a warmer climate. Tough to imagine a venture needing to live off of June, July, August and maybe a part of September being viable around here. One question I have...

    NWT

Some do, but one must remember the direct payout in prize money is only a portion of their total income from fishing. Winning gets your name out there, having your name in the spotlight is how one gets sponsors. A "successful" angler will benefit far more from having sponsors than they will...

    Fishing October

Yep, I fished one evening along a rocky shoreline up north and when it got dark enough I could easily see the walleyes hiding behind the boulders in 1-3 ft of water with a good headlamp.
