    Set it on simulator mode temporarily......if it doesn't display properly in simulator mode, there has to be something broken I would think. You could also ask your question on walleyecentral.com, I have received good help there before too.

    It generally happens when hand landing fish or when they are flopping around or when you have a hold of it and it flops out of your hand unexpectedly. Cranks and the above circumstances are especially hazardous.

    In both of my situations, I pulled the hook out with a pliers. The one in my leg did not want to come out on the first try....it made me realize just how tough our hide really is. With the buddies I employed the string technique and it worked well.
