250 LBS of Week - Not Guilty

So if you are hauling contraband, don't speed or cross the centerline. If you do, be prepared to pay the price.

250 LBS of Week - Not Guilty

It was in the back of a pickup. - - - Updated - - - I disagree. Its an illegal substance that has no other purpose but to achieve financial gain and fry the brains of humans that are too stupid to realize it.

    Leaky Propane Tanks

I just had two 20# tanks filled at Cenex on Broadway in Bismarck this morning. On one of them, the certification had expired last month so I had to pony up the $10 for a recertification. And what a joke that is. Visual inspection and maybe a squirt of soap solution to check for a leak where...

    Fish Creek Dam

Thanks for the info. Is the old boat ramp on the NE bay unusable? Do you fly fish Bfishn? Are or were there still trout in the lake?

    Fish Creek Dam

Anyone been to Fish Creek Dam south of Judson lately? Has it filled back up with water after it was drained to repair the dam? Any fishing reports? Used to be fun to fly fish on nice calm fall evenings. Lots of trout, crappies, and bass. Wouldn't mind giving it another try but wondering if...

    Boat took a crap

I heard that the NDGF won't license a boat that is more than 10% overpowered. Any truth to that?

    2018 skeeter WX2090

That's a lot of water as you say. Have you checked to see if all of the livewell and bilge pumps still work? Was the motor starting battery submerged? Other than wiring, what other electrical stuff sat in water?

    Sak question

Anyone regret going from aluminum hull to glass hull?

I went from a 16-1/2' Alumnacraft Competitor to a Skeeter WX1850. On the plus side, the Skeeter definitely rides better and since it has a windshield is much drier. The trolling motor stays in the water most of the time when trolling into the wind. It is very comfortable, roomy, and well laid...

    Night Time Cranking

Late fall night time cranking on the Saskatchewan River coming out of Lake Tobin in SK is very popular and can produce some real pigs. But not a comfortable way to fish when temps are near or below freezing.

    SeaStar Hydraulic Steering

The repair kit from Amazon comes with a spanner wrench. The youtube video shows needing a puller but that guy was also working, I believe, on an engine that had been exposed to salt water so maybe the fresh water units come apart easier. I will give it a shot but might not do it for a while...

Did you use a puller to take the support bracket off?

    I'm addicted to Power Pro

$3 to $4 per gallon of gasoline, $4 per dozen crawlers, $7 crankbaits, yada yada yada, and you guys are worried about the price of fishing line?

    SeaStar Hydraulic Steering

Have a 2011 150 HP Yamaha with SeaStar Hydraulic Steering with a leaky seal. Wondering how many $ the repair shops nick you to have them replaced. Also, I am a pretty fair mechanic. If anyone has done it themselves, how big of a pain was it? Looks like you need a two-jawed puller to get the...

    Storms

Due to sleep being disturbed by storms the last couple of nights and the continual rumble of fireworks at about 10:30 last night, I closed all of the doors and windows, put ear plugs in, and slept like a baby. I do remember a rumble of thunder once but didn't realized it had even rained until I...
