    Yellow jackets~

After having no luck plugging the hole, spraying with foam insecticide, and using Terro, the shop vac seems to have done the trick. Got half of a bag of those little pests! I think the colder nights may have also slowed things down but will keep watching in the afternoons when things warm up...

    Yellow jackets~

I bought a can of Spectracide Carpenter Bee and Hornet insecticide yesterday. It has a 6" tube like a can of WD40 etc and is supposed to foam when you inject it into the critters' entrance hole. I forgot to try it last evening after it got dark on a nest behind a landscaping block wall...

Looked for Taurus CS at Menard's and True Value in Bismarck this morning but no luck. Anyone know where it is available in Bismarck? - - - Updated - - - Guess it should read Taurus SC; not CS.

    Outboard Motor Parts

Thanks for all the input guys. I was able to straighten out the old screen and got the old girl purring like a top with lots of cooling water being discharged. Never heard of Brodericks? Where are they located?

    Outboard Motor Parts

Fortunately my wife and I don't need to play those games. We each pretty much spend (within reason) as we want.

    Outboard Motor Parts

I needed a water intake screen for a 1970 6 HP Johnson that my dad and I purchased new but hasn't been maintained or run in probably 25 years or more. I replaced the seals and water pump but discovered that the screen was full of old dried up gear lube and dirt so I pretty much beat the hell...

    Outboard Motor Parts

I understand what you are saying but I have had good luck finding parts for my Honda kicker at Moritz. I have just never understood why no one in Bis/Mandan carries the Johnson/Evinrude brands. Like I said in an earlier post, I can order the part and pay $17. Frustrating when it probably...

Wife had some Elmer's spray adhesive in her craft room so I cleaned the boat up with denatured alcohol and stuck the license back on. Seems to have stuck....hope so but will have to wait to see.

Bilge Pumps on Skeeter Not Working

License Sticker Falling Off of Boat

Pedro, I had considered tucking it in with my fishing license. Think the wardens would take issue with that? I may have a brew or two during the day but nothing excessive. - - - Updated - - - Do you think Gorilla Glue would do the trick? Doesn't that stuff expand like spray foam insulation?

License Sticker Falling Off of Boat

Anyone have a suggestion as to what kind of glue to re-attach it. Must have been some wax or something on the old one. Imagine if I call the G&F they will want another $36 for a new one.

Bilge Pumps on Skeeter Not Working

The bilge pumps on my 2011 Skeeter WX1850 quit working. Since neither one will run, I am assuming that it is an electrical problem and possibly a fuse. Plan to check it out tomorrow but does anyone have any experience with this problem or advice as to what to look for? I am sure they are...

This guy wasn't in danger of sinking. He just had a few gallons in the boat.

    Patience is a virtue

I always carry an old light weight pair of waders in the back of my pickup when using a boat. Used them today on the MO River.
