    I have fished a couple sloughs around that 12 to 15 year old age and caught root balls from cattails. It seams weird that the plants that grow in the summer are usually decayed by the next spring.

    Fish should be below the dams don't expect alot for size but u should be able to get a few with a jig and minnow.

    I don't have any input on a good sealer. But don't pressure wash the deck to clean in prior to sealing it unless u want to let to sit for a month to dry out.

    If u are able to leave the minnows in the creek they will keep for a long time. I used to have a creek by my old place that had a bunch of minnows. I took a 5 gallon pail and drilled a bunch of little holes in it and kept it in the with the minnows that I had caught. Just pull out a couple...

    I haven't had a good piece of fur in my snares in 2 week's. I pulled the last on my line yesterday had 2 fox that were rubbed real bad a mangy yote and a bunny now quite sure how that happened. If a guy is just looking to get rid of some egg robbers I would go out and give it a try.
