    The ONLY way to do pistol rounds (and 5.56 for that matter) are on a blue machine. Although progressives aren't exactly a "starter" setup. I guess it could be, they really aren't that complicated. I'd rather bash my head in than do pistol rounds and massive amounts of 5.56 on a single stage.

    I can see where Spartans serve their purpose. If you're not a "bipod guy" and you want that alternative/option they're ok and they work in a pinch. Just don't expect to dig them in and preload them like you do/can a set of Harris.
