    The lake I fished today had about 16 feet of visibility in a not so dark house. I'm going to try and get over there again this weekend and do some spearing.

    Most concealable handgun?

    My wife has a lc9 I can't shoot it worth a darn it's way to small for me she shoots it great. Might be a good choice for an old guy. I carry a XDM subcompact in a iwb holster. Gun is a little large but fits me well.

    Congrats on a good looking deer. I love hunting this time of year for about the first hour then a guy gets cold and it sucks. - - - Updated - - - Blood tracking lights suck. Just buy a light with a good bright white light and u will be good to go.

    I'm headed out tomorrow with the kids to see if we can track down some perch. I'm really starting to like this not working in the winter get to go fishing during the week.

    I have an XDM in a 40 I only have about 1500 rounds threw it so can't say alot about how reliable it is but in happy with it and it shoots good. I like the grip safety don't get in the way if a guy handles the gun the same way each time he shoots it will never be an issue.

    Be quiet u will see alot more fish I've always like 6 to 8 feet deep. Decoy mover depends on activity of fish I like to put down 2 decoys and only jig one of them. I've noticed that if the fish are active they will chase the moving one if not. They will come in and bump the still one.

    It all depends on if there was geese on the lakes. Most areas are good but spots of only 2 inches are around this was as of Friday so the thin spots should be better by now.

    Keep it the way it is. If I want a lion that bad I'll go to Idaho. What scares a guys is some bird hunters from fargo are going to try and use there bird dogs to track a lion. Then end up with a couple dead dogs.

    The simplest ideas....

    I'll have to get a set of those for the wife. If a guy was to carry a small standard screwdriver u wouldn't have to cut them off just pull up the tab. Then they are good for more than one use.

    I would guess smoking to a temp of 142 would set the meat up so u are able to slice it. Then finish cooking when u pan fry it.

    Buy a cheap one put a 100 foot cord on it so u can set it on the other side of the fish house next to u.

    I ones I have seen down in the sand hills were good to drive. Unless marked most had a post driven into the middle of the road so u couldn't get in there with a vehicle.
