    Ive always had best luck in shallow rocky areas with a good chop on the water, usually 7-12 feet but Ive caught many fish throwing even shallower if theres a mudline and some clouds, 3-5 feet.

    Consider the stihl combi system if you have a lot of stuff to do, handly little chainsaw attachment also, I use mine quite a bit.

    I was up there last weekend and we got 2 small eyes and 2 nice smallies in the hour before my GF got seasick and we had to leave. Definitely wasnt fast n furious... I usually fish jigs up there.

    Your best bet to catch one, instead of using heavier line is to use strong line on a fishing rod, so they can pull out drag, but you can reel it back in when you want it. Use a dead gopher for bait, preferably ripped open with guts hanging out and use hooks designed to rust away rather quickly...

    Id say Tikka has a better factory trigger, savage has more options for customization. Tikka comes in stainless (big bonus in my book). Tikka is fairly easy to add some weight to the stock if you want to take the edge off the recoil a bit, with epoxy and lead. Both shoot very well. Do you reload...

    Im with YOU on this one, makes a lot more sense than throwing millions of dollars and a bunch of restrictive regulations at something that is going to happen anyway. Plus it would make spear fishing a lot more fun if you could see more than 2 feet in the local lakes....

    Exactly, some people think money grows on trees or something. Want the govt to protect them, but not willing to do much themselves. Im thinking AZM (anti zebra mussel) people on here could form a club and donate their time to prevent the spread of ANS instead of expecting everyone else to pay...

    Teflon is toxic, prolly gives you cancer as well. I like cast iron, but they are heavy bastards. Stainless with an aluminum core is my favorite, good heat distribution and fairly easy to clean. New ceramic coatings are really nice also, and non toxic.

No one is pointing their fingers at anyone specifically except they claim that the official explanation for the building failure doesnt make sense. Also they claim that rules were broken...
